Salim Walker Omari
Salim likes tumbling particularly a good backflip competition, his record so far is 11 backflips in a row on the white sands of Mombasa’s beaches. Recently Salim has been inspired to train hard on the trapeze, he enjoys working with other people to create interesting shapes and new, never before seen moves. In his spare time Salim like to cook rice and meat as he learnt from his sister.
Suleiman Ali Mpeto
Suleiman was raised by his grandmother, she was a high spirited woman who could make the whole village laugh with her wonderful stories. Suleiman has inherited this ability to make people laugh as is evident in his clowning performances. Suleiman also enjoys performing trapeze, pole, acrobatics and tumbling. He is particularly passionate about improving up coming artists’ technique. In his spare time Suleiman enjoys visiting his friends.
Juma Mwajora
Juma has loved acrobatics and tumbling ever since he was young so it comes naturally to him. Juma sees himself as a circus performer and also a manager for the Mighty Black Angles. He is interested in the business side of circus adding to his knowledge about organising performances and workshops from different people he meets. In his spare time Juma like to make new and diverse friendships, and visit the centres of upcoming artists in Kenya to give the artists inspiration.
Mohamed Salim
Mohamed is very serious about acrobatics, his passion is building perfect pyramids, as the base of the group he ensures that the pyramids are strong and stable. He also enjoys training and performing the Chinese pole. Mohamed’s dream is to perform in the big circuses in Europe and America. He is also on the path to becoming a circus teacher, which he enjoys immensely. In his spare time Mohamed likes to read all kinds of novels.
Abdalla Hamed Ganzala
Abdalla is short in stature but big in performance he is a very good flyer and enjoys performing handstands at the top of the Mighty Black Angels’ famous human pyramids. Abdalla enjoys contemporary dance because he feels that it comes from the heart. He is also passionate about passing on his circus skills to young people. In his spare time Abdalla likes to socialise and enjoys sharing meals with other people.
Nassoro Masud
Since the age of seven Nassoro has been keen to become an acrobat. His parents feared he would break his leg and told him to concentrate on his studies. Despite doing well at school, when the time came and the decision was his, he chose to follow his heart and become an acrobat. Nassoro loves to hear the audience cheer whether he is performing rope skipping, pyramids, trapeze or tumbling. In his spare time Nassoro like to watches videos which make him laugh.
